We collect the information you choose to give us when you get in touch. If you email or call us, that is your name, your contact details, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry. If you use an enquiry form on this site, it is the fields you complete on that form.
Our hosting provider also records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
We use your enquiry details to reply to you, to discuss possible work, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to someone who has contacted us about our services. Where we go on to work together, we use your details to perform our contract with you.
We do not sell your data. Marketing to individuals rather than businesses is sent only with consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We sometimes contact people at companies we think would benefit from our work. We use business contact details - name, role, work email and company - taken from public professional sources such as company websites, LinkedIn, press coverage and industry directories, or from meeting you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in promoting our services to businesses. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying or emailing contact@rightoff.co.uk, and we will not contact you again. We keep prospect details for up to two years from our last contact.
We name the people and companies we have worked with in credits and case studies, relying on our legitimate interest in showing our work accurately. If you would prefer not to be named, email contact@rightoff.co.uk.
Your data is handled by the providers we use to run the business, including our email provider, our website host and our accounting software. They process it on our instructions only. The enquiry form on this site is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser when you submit it. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years, so we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for seven years, to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
Some of our providers store data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards permitted under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations (including the UK-US Data Bridge) or the ICO's international data transfer agreement.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email contact@rightoff.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to us: email contact@rightoff.co.uk or write to our registered office. We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or free of errors. Credits, dates and project details are given in good faith. We may change or remove any part of the site at any time without notice.
